Encourage seat belt use by making them more comfortable to wear with IMMI’s Komfort Latch. In normal driving conditions with the Komfort Latch engaged, the seat belt is allowed to extend/retract 5 to 7 inches for greater freedom of movement. Komfort Latch makes it easier for the driver to lean forward, make full steering wheel turns, and to check their side mirrors while remaining safely and comfortably buckled up.

Should the vehicle experience a sudden deceleration while the Komfort Latch is in use, the seat belt will lock as needed.

Komfort Latch FAQs

A: Yes, IMMI’s Komfort Latch meets applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

A: 1. Latch the seat belt (visit www.clicktugsnug.com)

2. Release Komfort Latch lever by pulling it down

3. Properly adjust the seat belt height adjuster.

4. Pull the shoulder belt a small distance away from your chest, just enough so you can insert two fingers (approximately 1” or 2.5 cm) between the shoulder belt and your chest.

5. With your other hand, lift up the Komfort Latch lever until it secures the web.

To disengage the Komfort Latch:

Pull on the shoulder belt or reach up and pull down the Komfort Latch lever. The Komfort Latch will disengage and allow the seat belt to retract.

A: 1. Latch seat belt (visit www.clicktugsnug.com)

2. Push the yellow button to engage the Komfort Latch.

3. Lean forward (about 4”) until you hear a click.

4. Return to normal driving position, and the latch maintains the preset amount of slack (approximately 1 inch).

To disengage the Komfort Latch:

1. Unlatch the seat belt.

2. Push the yellow button to disengage the Komfort Latch – OR – tug on the upper torso portion of the seat belt.

A: Komfort Latch is designed for use in large commercial vehicles such as semis and fire apparatus with air suspension seats. It should not be installed in personal vehicles. Komfort Latch can be added to a truck or apparatus but only as part of a seat belt system. The seat belt would have to be replaced to get Komfort Latch.

A: The first generation Komfort Latch comes with a lever you can open and close to engage the device. The second generation has an on/off switch. Both are designed to add the proper amount of slack to the seat belt.
