A: Per4Max provides a belted ambulance occupant with controlled deceleration. Managing energy in any severe crash is important and helps to minimize injuries. Per4Max absorbs energy so that the occupant does not experience as much from the crash.

A: After any severe crash, all seat belts should be inspected. Per4Max includes a label that shows when the controlled decelerator has been activated. Once the label shows activation, the Per4Max seat belt must be replaced.
